Flying Book Pendant Light

The Flying Book Pendant Light from Delva Home is shaped like an open book caught mid-flight, pages spread, hanging above a room. It is an unmistakable piece, the kind of fixture people notice and ask about, but the form is clean enough that it reads as sculpture rather than a gimmick, and the PVC shade diffuses light softly through the pages.

At 30 cm wide and 20 cm high it is sized for a single point rather than a bank of lights: over a bedside, a reading chair, a study desk or a cafe table. Five colours are available, blue, yellow, pink, black and white, which is unusual for a pendant and lets it act as the accent colour in an otherwise neutral room.

The PVC and iron construction keeps it light for its size, and the 150 cm cord is adjustable at installation for high or low ceilings.
