Italian Glass Table Lamp

The Italian Designer Glass Table Lamp from Delva Home is built around a single glossy glass form, rounded and softly retro, closer to a piece of studio glass than a conventional shade, set on a polished chrome base. Lit, the glass glows evenly from within; unlit, it holds its own on a shelf as an object.

The LED is included and integrated, so there is no bulb to choose and no filament visible through the glass. Light diffuses through the shade rather than escaping downward, which gives a soft, low-glare pool suited to a bedside, a desk edge or a console in a living room where you want atmosphere more than task lighting.

At 29 cm tall and 22 cm wide it is substantial enough to read as intentional but small enough for a crowded surface, and the chrome base gives it the weight to stay put. Two colours are available, pink and white, one warm and one neutral. It plugs into 220 to 240V mains. Clean the glass with a soft, barely damp cloth and dry it afterwards to avoid water marks on the chrome.
