This compact block-form lamp carries its own battery, so it mounts anywhere - beside a bed, along a hallway, inside a bookcase, or on a rented wall where drilling for cable is out of the question. The warm wood-grain finish and soft diffuser panel keep it looking like furniture rather than hardware.

A touch-sensitive surface cycles the light on, off and through brightness levels, so you can set a low bedside glow for reading or a brighter working level with a single fingertip. USB-C charging tops it back up in a few hours and a full charge carries several evenings of normal use. Fix it with the included adhesive plate or screw bracket, then lift it off the wall whenever you want to carry it with you.
