Nordic Solid Wood Pendant Light

The Nordic Solid Wood Pendant Light from Delva Home is a 28 cm shade turned from solid timber and hung as a semi-flush pendant. Solid wood rather than veneer is what gives it depth: the grain runs through the piece, so the rim shows end grain and the surface catches light differently as you move around it.

Wood absorbs and warms light rather than reflecting it hard, which makes this a good fixture over a dining table or in a bedroom where you want atmosphere rather than brightness. The Japandi character comes from the restraint: one material, one shape, no visible fixings.

The shade is detachable and installation hardware is included, so mounting and later cleaning are both straightforward. The suspension height adjusts at installation. It takes a bulb, not included, and runs on 110 to 240V. It is hardwired, so have it installed by a qualified electrician where local rules require it.
