Cream Ceramic Wall Lamp

The Nordic Cream Ceramic Wall Lamp from Delva Home sets a sculpted, flower-shaped ceramic shade on a brushed copper arm. Ceramic is an unusual material for a shade and it behaves differently to glass: it glows warmly at the rim rather than throughout, so the light stays soft and directional.

The creamy matte glaze is what gives it the vintage character, and no two pieces glaze identically. Against a painted wall it reads as a small piece of pottery that happens to light the room, which is why it works in bedrooms, reading nooks and boutique interiors rather than task-lit spaces.

An E27 LED bulb is included, drawing 4W with a maximum of 100W supported, and it runs on AC 85 to 265V. At around 1.4 kg it needs a proper wall fixing rather than a plasterboard plug alone. Dust the ceramic with a dry cloth. Have it installed by a qualified electrician where local rules require it.
