Nordic DualGlow Wall Lamp

The Nordic DualGlow Wall Lamp from Delva Home is a rounded rectangular block, 25.5 cm tall, that throws light both up and down from a colour-blocked body. The two-tone finish is the design decision that separates it from a plain sconce: the colours meet along a soft curve rather than a hard edge.

Up-and-down lighting is what makes it useful rather than merely decorative. The upward wash lifts a low ceiling and the downward beam gives you enough to read by, so a pair either side of a bed covers ambience and function without a separate lamp on the nightstand.

It takes an E27 LED bulb, not included, and runs on AC 85 to 265V. Metal and polycarbonate construction keeps it light at 12 cm deep, so it mounts easily and does not project far into a hallway. Multiple colourways are available. Have it installed by a qualified electrician where local rules require it.
