Nordic Glass LED Wall Sconce

The Nordic Glass LED Wall Sconce from Delva Home is a 23 cm glass disc, only 9.5 cm deep, with a metal centre that holds the LED. Light spreads out through the glass from the middle rather than shining forward, so the whole disc glows evenly and the wall behind it stays soft.

Two finishes suit different rooms: champagne gold for warmth against cream and timber, and smoke grey for a cooler, more graphic look against white or dark paint. The glass is hand-polished and the iron is finished in high-temperature lacquer, which holds its colour rather than yellowing near the LED.

The 5W LED is built in and warm white, covering three to five square metres, so this is accent and ambient lighting rather than task light. It runs on 90 to 260V. It suits bedrooms, corridors, dining rooms and hotel interiors. Have it installed by a qualified electrician where local rules require it.
