Nordic Globe Glass Wall Lamp

The Nordic Globe Glass Wall Lamp from Delva Home is an opal glass sphere on a slim wrought iron arm. Opal glass is the detail that matters: it is diffusing rather than clear, so the bulb inside disappears completely and the whole globe becomes an even, soft light source.

That evenness is why it works beside a bathroom mirror, where light from a single bright point throws shadows across a face. Two diameters are available, 12 cm and 15 cm, and a pair either side of a mirror does the job better than a single fixture above it.

Beyond a bathroom it suits bedsides, hallways and dressing areas. It takes a G9 bulb, not included, and runs on AC 220 to 240V. Wrought iron and glass make it heavier than it looks, so use an appropriate wall fixing. Have it installed by a qualified electrician where local rules require it.
