FloraFrame Hanging Planter

The FloraFrame Hanging Planter from Delva Home is a slim iron frame that holds a pot at its base and leaves the rest as open outline. The effect is that the plant appears to be drawn onto the wall: trailing foliage falls through and around the frame, and the geometry gives it a structure a plain hanging pot never has.

Two shapes suit different spaces. The round frame is 33 cm wide and 64.8 cm tall, taking a 14 cm pot, and works well over a console or in a corner. The oval is narrow and tall at 15.7 by 99 cm with a 15.2 cm pot, which makes it the better choice for a slim wall between doorways or beside a window.

Iron gives it the rigidity to hold a full pot of wet soil without flexing, and mounting hardware is included for either a ceiling or a wall fixing. Trailing plants such as pothos, string of hearts and ivy suit the open frame best. Take the pot out to water it, or use a saucer, and check the fixing is into something solid before hanging.
