Bauhaus Glass Pendant Lamp

The Bauhaus Glass Pendant Lamp from Delva Home stacks discs of glass into a layered form suspended on a slim cord. Light passes through and between the layers rather than out of a single shade, so the edges glow and the whole fixture reads as translucent rather than lit from within.

Sizes run from 25 cm across up to 45 cm, with several heights within each width, so the fixture can be scaled to a bedside or a dining table. The built-in LED comes in warm white or neutral white depending on the variant, and it is efficient enough to leave on through an evening without thinking about it.
