Coloured Glass Pendant Light

The Glass Pendant Light from Delva Home is a small tinted glass shade, 15 cm across and 22 cm tall, on plain iron fittings. The colour is in the glass rather than a coating, so light passing through picks it up and carries it into the room: smoked grey cools a space down, amber brown warms it up.

The size is what makes it useful. A single shade this small does not dominate a bedside or a corner, and a row of three or five above a kitchen island or a bar gives you a line of light without a heavy visual block across the room. Iron fittings keep the hardware minimal so the glass stays the focus.

The 150 cm cable adjusts at installation for high or low ceilings, and it takes a standard E27 bulb, not included, with a warm LED suiting the tinted glass best. It works as readily in a cafe, a restaurant or a bar as it does at home. Have it installed by a qualified electrician where local rules require it.
