Iron and Glass Ceiling Light

The Iron and Glass Ceiling Light from Delva Home sets a frosted glass globe inside a ribbed iron shade in olive green. The two materials do different jobs: the iron gives it structure and colour, and the glass softens the light so it leaves the fixture as a warm glow rather than a bright point.

At 25 cm across and 18 cm high it is a compact flush mount, sized for a hallway, an entryway, a small bedroom or a landing where a pendant would hang into the space. The ribbing on the shade catches light across its surface, so the fixture has texture even when it is switched off.

It takes an E27 LED bulb, not included, and runs on AC 90 to 260V. Iron construction keeps it rigid and it mounts flush against a standard ceiling fixing. Wipe the glass with a barely damp cloth and the iron with a dry one. Have it installed by a qualified electrician where local rules require it.
