Mireta Glass Pendant Light

The Mireta Glass Pendant Light from Delva Home is a wide, low shade in tinted glass with fine ridges running around it. Amber gives a warm, honeyed light that suits a dining table in the evening; olive green is cooler and more unusual, and reads as a deliberate colour choice in an otherwise neutral kitchen.

At 28 cm across and 16 cm high the proportions are deliberately squat, which is what makes it work hung low over a table or a bar without blocking the view across the room. It lights an area of about five to ten square metres, enough for a dining space, and the ridged glass spreads light rather than dropping a hard circle.

The LED is supplied with the fixture and it runs on AC 220 to 230V. Cable height is adjustable at installation, so the drop can be set for the table rather than the ceiling. It is not dimmable, so choose the light warmth with that in mind. Have it installed by a qualified electrician where local rules require it.
