LuxeSphere Glass Pendant Light

The LuxeSphere Glass Pendant Light from Delva Home is a rounded glass shade with fine vertical ribbing running down its face. The ribs refract the integrated LED into soft vertical bands, so instead of one flat glow the fixture produces a subtle pattern of light and shadow across itself and the surface below.

Three diameters are available, 15, 20 and 25 cm, and they are designed to be mixed. Hung at staggered heights above a dining table or an island, a cluster of different sizes reads as considered rather than repetitive, which is hard to achieve with a single-size fixture. Any one of them also works alone above a bedside or a console.

The LED is integrated, so there is no bulb to buy and nothing visible through the glass to break the form, and it draws very little power for the light it gives. Height is adjustable at installation. It suits restaurants and cafes as readily as homes. It is hardwired, so have it installed by a qualified electrician where local rules require it.
