The Modern Touch Table Lamp from Delva Home is a small curved metal form, 26 by 16 cm, with no visible switch and no cable running up the body. The whole shape is one continuous line, which is what lets it sit on a nightstand or a side table without adding visual clutter to a surface that usually has enough.

Touch anywhere on the body to switch it on, and tap again to move through three brightness levels: low for a night light, mid for ambience, high for reading. The integrated LED is warm white at 3000K and shielded from your eye line, so what you get is a glow rather than a glare.

It can run either on its internal battery over USB or plugged in, which means it works as a fixed bedside lamp or a portable one depending on the day. Metal construction gives it enough weight to stay put when you tap it. Wipe it clean with a dry cloth, and charge it fully before first use if you plan to run it cordless.
