Bamboo Rattan Pendant Lamp

The Bamboo Pendant Lamp from Delva Home is a handwoven rattan shade, so what hangs above the table is a lattice rather than a solid form. When it is lit, light escapes through the weave as well as the opening, scattering a fine pattern of shadow across the ceiling and walls that changes with the angle you view it from.

Each shade is woven by hand from natural bamboo and rattan, which means the weave density and tone vary slightly between pieces. That variation is what gives it the artisanal look, and it is also why it suits boho, coastal and Japandi rooms where machine-perfect surfaces would feel out of place.

At 30 cm across and 18 to 30 cm high depending on the model, it works alone over a small table or in a row above a longer one. The cable adjusts up to 120 cm. It takes an E27 bulb up to 100W, not included, and runs on AC 90 to 260V. Dust it with a soft dry brush. Have it installed by a qualified electrician where local rules require it.
