Smoked Glass Tube Wall Lamp

The Smoked Glass Tube Wall Lamp from Delva Home is a vertical glass cylinder, 35 cm tall and only 10 cm square in footprint, held on an electroplated copper and iron bracket. It lights both up and down, so what you see is a lit column with a soft glow escaping at either end rather than a single bright point.

Three glass tints change the character completely: smoke grey for restraint, frosted white for the softest diffusion, and blue for something more graphic. The glass is thick rather than thin, which is what gives it weight in the hand and depth in the colour, and the electroplated metal picks up warmth from the bulbs behind it.

Two E14 LED bulbs are included, so it is ready to fit out of the box, and it runs on AC 85 to 265V. It suits a room of roughly three to eight square metres, which makes it a natural bedside, hallway or entryway fixture, particularly hung as a pair. Have it installed by a qualified electrician where local rules require it.
