Nordic Macaron Ceiling Light

The Nordic Macaron Ceiling Light from Delva Home is a small powder-coated aluminium dome in one of six soft colours: deep blue, blue, yellow, pink, grey and green. The name is apt, since the finish is matte and slightly chalky and the shape is rounded rather than conical, which is what gives it its cheerful character.

At 15 cm across and 20 cm high with a 10 cm base, it is small enough to use in a row of three or five along a hallway, or in mixed colours across a study or a child's room. Powder coating over aluminium resists chipping, which matters for a fixture likely to be handled during installation.

It takes a standard E27 bulb up to 60W, not included, and runs anywhere between 85 and 265V. Mounting is a standard ceiling fixing, so it swaps directly for an existing fitting. It suits bedrooms, dining rooms, studies and corridors. Wipe it with a dry cloth. Have it installed by a qualified electrician where local rules require it.
