Nordic Tripod Table Lamp

The Nordic Tripod Table Lamp from Delva Home stands on three solid wood legs under a soft linen-look fabric shade. It is a familiar shape done carefully: the timber is left natural so the grain shows, and the shade is deep enough to hide the bulb completely from anyone sitting beside it.

Fabric does something metal cannot, in that it glows rather than reflecting, so the whole shade becomes the light source and the room fills with a soft, even warmth. At 39 cm tall with a 16 cm shade it is sized for a bedside table or a desk rather than a floor, and the 170 cm cord gives room to reach a socket.

A push-button switch on the cord keeps the lamp itself clean of hardware. It takes an E27 bulb up to 60W, not included, and runs on 220 to 240V. Three shade colours are available: white, grey and linen. Dust the shade with a soft brush and wipe the wood with a dry cloth.
