Rotating Wood Wall Lamp

The Rotating Wall Lamp from Delva Home is a small black walnut and aluminium block, 20 by 11 by 10 cm and only 3 cm thick in the body, that rotates on its mount. That single movement is the whole design: point it up for a wash across the ceiling, down for reading, or along the wall for a graze of light.

The material pairing is Japanese in spirit, with solid wood against brushed aluminium, no ornament and tight tolerances. The wood face warms the light coming off it, and the aluminium body stays cool and keeps the profile slim enough to pass behind an open door.

Tricolour switching gives warm, natural and cool white from the same fixture, so it can be a reading light in the evening and a working light during the day. It is wall-mounted and suits bedsides, hallways, studies and entryways, particularly in pairs. Have it installed by a qualified electrician where local rules require it.
