Solon LED Ceiling Light

The Solon LED Ceiling Light from Delva Home is a shallow metal disc with a wide diffuser, sitting flush against the ceiling. The metallic finish on the rim is the only decoration, which is deliberate: the fixture is meant to disappear into a Scandinavian room during the day and light it evenly at night.

The diffuser is the working part. Because it is wide relative to the depth of the fixture, light spreads across the ceiling and down rather than dropping in a cone, which is what removes glare and keeps shadows soft in a room of ten to fifteen square metres.

It is dimmable, so the same fixture handles morning brightness and evening calm, and the LED is integrated, so there are no bulbs to buy or replace. It runs on AC 220V and mounts to a standard ceiling fixing. Metal construction keeps it rigid and dust-resistant; wipe it with a dry cloth. Have it installed by a qualified electrician where local rules require it.
